The HP EliteBook 2730p is a pleasant Tablet Computer. It’s got a solid framework and a great design. We like the chrome steel look, it’s extremely sleek.
The 2730p is the update to the 2710p and has the majority of the same features, but it has the upgraded 1.86GHz Core two Pair processor and upgraded drive options. Right off the bat you spot the sleek appearance of this 12.1″ tablet. We enjoyed taking it to our buddy’s homes because they were impressed with the design.
We also like that the 2730p has both the pointing stick and a touchpad. Options are always nice, particularly if you aren’t keen on the pointing stick. We’d say this is a good update from the 2710p tablet. The 2730p has a12.1″ Illumi-Lite, WXGA UWVA, anti-glare with digitizer display.
The hinge is secure, so even in tablet mode the display is simple to read and locks into place. It weighs in around 3.7lbs, so it feels lightweight, but yet solid. It is easy to hold in tablet mode and fun to take notes with. HP has made the 2730p into a pleasant business tablet. Some users may desire more ports, but it has the average variety, we do wish there had been more then two USB ports though . There were no appearances of flex in the screen or hinge.
We also did not notice it having an issue running multiple applications either.
