Netbook Reviews:Samsung NC10

Glorious battery life ; decent, just about full-size keyboard. Tasteless design with no excellent extras ; too-small touchpad. The Samsung NC10 is a totally average netbook in each way, but we like its keyboard and love its long-running battery. With Samsung’s current entry into the U.S. market, it actually appears sensible for the company to incorporate an example of the latest thing in computers right now–the humble Netbook.
As shown by other up to date big-name entrants like Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Acer, and Lenovo, it appears that no Computer maker’s lineup is complete without one of these tiny, low-price systems.
The Samsung netbook, called the NC10, is a $499 10-inch system, which could be mistaken for a Lenovo S10 or MSI Wind from across the room. Its most prominent feature is that it has no prominent features. It is a fully average Netbook in each way, lacking unique extras like the Lenovo Ideapad S10’s ExpressCard slot or the HP Mini one thousand’s massive keyboard. Not that there’s anything up with that.
We like the glorious battery life, 2nd only to Asus’ Netbooks. So, if extra-long battery life is more necessary to you than HP’s massive keyboard, Lenovo’s growth slot, or Dell’s customization options, then you will be pleased that Samsung ultimately made a decision to sell its wares stateside.
