Right now it just seems to be based on what they can do...if they can't do more than email/surf then probably classified as a netbook. But it won't be long before even those are powerful enough to do anything a full blown PC can do. And won't be long before "regular" laptops are the size and cost of current netbooks. Then again it probably won't be long before all that stuff blends even more with "smart" phones and handheld/pocket devices. And I can't wait lol.
