Tech Suave Review: HP Mini 1000

Weaker product specs compared to other nine inch netbooks. The HP Mini 1000 is an advance over the HP 2133 mini note – HP’s first netbook ; however, it does suffers from some critical design failings. Besides losing the popular aluminum casing the netbook still depends on two touchpad buttons on all sides of the touchpad.
Whilst the arguement can be made that the buttons were placed in this way to make allowance for a larger touch pad, we think they could shrink the touch pad a little and find a spot to set the buttons below the touch pad.
We get annoyed when we use netbooks like those offered by HP and the Acer Aspire One with this design choice, but if it does not bother you the HP Mini 1000 is a great netbook.
